Health and social services

All year long, students have access to the Inter-University Health Centre.This centre is run by a 20-person-team gathering doctors, nurses and secretaries. Students have a free of charges access to these medical services. The centre offers many services including reception services, consultations and preventive medicine in the areas of general medicine, nursing care, gynaecology, psychology, diet and nutrition, tobacco addiction, disabilities, etc.

Social workers provide assistance to the students through a weekly duty in the schools of Grenoble Institute of Technology. They are entitled to make individual appointment with students, provide information and help in case of social, family or personal difficulties.
